About me

A little about me

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me getting hands-on with pottery or woodwork and exploring my love for graffiti art or building something fun with LEGO. I also have a passion for photography, capturing moments wherever I go. I’m happiest when I’m outdoors whether that’s in the forest, paddling in a stream or by the beach spending time with my family and soaking up nature. I also love travelling to Spain to visit my parents, a place that feels just as much like home as the UK. I feel like I’m a mix of all the places I’ve lived and explored, carrying a little bit of each with me. When I’m not out adventuring, I enjoy cosy nights in, watching a film, tackling a quiz or cooking up something delicious. Whether indoors or out, I’m always looking for new ways to be creative and expand my knowledge in support of my next project!

My career path and achievements

My journey in UI/UX and web design has been anything but predictable and that’s what keeps it exciting. I started in helicopters then onto e-commerce followed by a move into government and third-sector websites. All these position have challenged me to think differently and refine my approach and processes. Each project has shaped my ability to solve real-world design challenges ensuring that my work is user-focused, accessible and impactful. I love discovering smarter ways to design, making digital experiences not just functional but genuinely enjoyable to use.

As the founder of KeGo Studios I provide bespoke UI/UX and web design solutions for businesses, startups and creatives looking to enhance their digital presence. Specialising in creating modern, user-friendly and accessible websites blending clean aesthetics with seamless functionality. From user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and final design ensuring that every project is crafted with both business goals and user needs in mind. My focus is on continuous improvement, staying ahead of industry trends and delivering high-performing, intuitive digital experiences.

As a UI/UX Designer at S8080 in Swansea working on user-focused digital solutions for government, public sector and commercial clients. My role involves researching user needs, creating intuitive wireframes, designing high-fidelity prototypes and ensuring seamless user experiences. Collaborating with developers and stakeholders crafting accessible, responsive and engaging digital designs that align with both business goals and user expectations.

Employed as lead UI/UX Designer focusing on creating engaging digital experiences for a diverse range of clients. My role involved user research, wireframing, prototyping and UI design ensuring that each project was not only visually striking but also highly functional and user-friendly. I collaborated closely with developers and stakeholders to refine digital products that aligned with brand identity and user needs.

At ACT company I played a key role in continuous improvement working to enhance internal systems and digital processes. This involved identifying pain points, streamlining workflows and implementing user-friendly solutions that improved efficiency for both staff and learners. My work contributed to a more seamless and effective digital experience within the organisation.

Leonardo/K+N/Wincanton - Somerset, UK

2007 - 2018

At Leonardo Helicopters my role was involved in continuous improvement initiatives and the design and development of an internal website to optimise digital processes within the company. My role focused on improving usability, accessibility and efficiency ensuring the internal platform supported employees in their daily tasks. By integrating user-centric design principles I helped create a more intuitive and effective digital workspace for the team.
