I Don’t Want Every Client — Just the Ones That Get It

You don’t need more clients.
You need the right ones.
Not everyone is a good fit — and that’s the point.
If you want something safe,
something that looks like everyone else,
something that won’t offend anyone…
I’m probably not the right designer for you.
And that’s intentional.
I design for brands with a point of view
The best projects all feel the same.
They’re not trying to please everyone.
They’re not copying competitors.
They know who they are — and who they’re not for.
That’s where good design starts.
“Alternative” doesn’t mean chaotic
There’s a difference between being different
and just being messy.
The brands I work best with:
- make clear decisions
- have strong direction
- still communicate properly
It’s not about being loud.
It’s about being intentional.
The vibe matters more than the brief
You can tell early on.
Some clients:
- trust the process
- are open to ideas
- want something that actually stands out
Others:
- second guess everything
- play it safe
- slowly dilute the work
One leads to something sharp.
The other leads to something forgettable.
Why this approach works
When the fit is right:
- decisions are faster
- ideas go further
- the outcome is stronger
You’re not forcing it.
You’re building something that actually reflects who you are.
And that shows.
Final thought
I’m not here to design something that blends in.
I’m here to work with people who want something clearer, sharper, and more intentional —
and aren’t afraid to stand behind it.
