This project focused on elevating the digital presence of a platform dedicated to cultural heritage, with a redesign of its homepage banner and monument content pages. The goal was to modernise visuals, increase user engagement and improve the presentation of rich historical content.
Objectives
The goal was to create a visually compelling homepage banner that effectively highlighted key heritage themes, drawing users into the content from the outset. Navigation and readability on the places pages were significantly improved to support better user flow and engagement. While modernising the overall presentation, care was taken to preserve historical integrity and ensure all updates remained true to the spirit of the content. Throughout the project, visual design choices were made in line with established brand guidelines and with full consideration for accessibility standards.
